LIBRARY VOLUNTEERS

Albion library wouldn't function without the help from our dedicated parent volunteers. Thank you! The library is constantly being rearranged and shuffled as Albion moves to a more collaborative Learning Commons space for the students and teachers at the school so parent and community help is always welcomed.

Shelving

Helping to shelf the many books that circulate through our library is so appreciated. We are very lucky to have an exceptionally well-stocked library and so lucky to have such wonderful parent volunteers to help keep the most popular books shelved and ready to go.

Library organizing

Parent volunteers can also help in the library by 'weeding' through the shelves, repairing damaged books or helping check in books as they come in. There are always many jobs and something for everyone.

scholastic book Fairs

Albion holds Scholastic Book Fairs every year. Volunteering is a great way to spend time with the Albion community. Parents usually volunteer during the school day working in pairs either before or after recess, or after lunch. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Jennifer Hughes.
